I also learned a while back that consignment shopping is not only green, and saves you green, it is a smart way to go to purchase play clothes without the worry of ruining those super-cute, full-price outfits from the designer stores. Sure, I have a few dressier outfits for her, but obviously at this age, she is typically running around, or playing with things that may get messy--and I am perfectly OK with that.
