Another handwriting program I will report back on is from the folks at Handwriting Without Tears. I have heard great things about it from numerous friends and teachers. I finally ordered a few items, so after we have some time with them, I will let you know my thoughts.
A few easy ways to practice:
I like to have my daughter trace letters in a tray of sand. I write out letters in chalk on the chalkboard easel and then have her trace the letters with a paintbrush and water - easy clean up, effective and she loves it. And of course coloring, painting and playing with playdoh help to strengthen the tiny muscles in the hand needed for writing.
A lot of fun ways to practice penmanship!
